“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day.” Jesus tells us that, in order to join him in heaven, we must accept the heavenly life he offers us. In short, we must know, love, and serve his Father.

How?

Two Ignatian insights might help: Finding God in All Things and Magis. If we can find God in everything we see and do then we will keep our eyes, and heart, on what really matters. If we can seek out Christ in the Sacraments and in the poor he will lead us to his Father. In striving for the Magis, the more, we will be constantly trying to maximize our time with God, not by doing more, but giving and surrendering more of ourselves to God so that we might receive the Life Jesus offers us.
