What does it take to get a personal letter from the Pope? Just ask these guys..

In a show of solidarity with Pope Francis and in living out a mission of “a faith that does justice,” Los Angeles-based Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative (JRJI) held a ritualistic foot-washing at Sylmar Juvenile Hall this past Holy Thursday. That news, along with personal letters from the young inmates, evoked a personal response from His Holiness. JRJI employees Jonni and James proudly tell the tale.
