The best part of the Christmas holidays was the conversation Christmas Eve during which my niece told my father about what she was doing in college. What made it great was not the conversation but the look of love and pride on my sister’s face as she watched my niece talk to our dad.

Sometime today, pause and close your eyes and see God look at you with the same look of delight that my sister Kathy had looking at my niece. Open your ears and hear God say to you: “You are my beloved child, my chosen one, with whom I am very, very pleased.”
