An excerpt from Loyola Productions’ upcoming documentary about the sacrifice of the Salvadoran martyrs.
Six Jesuits, their housekeeper, and the housekeeper’s daughter, were brutally murdered in 1989 by a US-trained and funded Salvadoran death squad. This clip examines the controversial relationship between the Reagan administration and the Salvadoran government. Interview subjects include: Ambassador William Walker, U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern, and Mario Valiente, a representative for the right-wing ARENA party.
