On episode one, actor-turned-priest Fr. Radmar Jao, S.J. and Jesuit Post co-founder Fr. Eric Sundrup, S.J. are joined by NYT bestselling author Anne Lamott and her best friend Fr. Tom Weston, S.J. for an irreverent and poignant discussion about forgiveness, living with faith and fear, and why desperation and exhaustion can be huge blessings. The group also talk about Anne’s journey from atheism to Christianity, Anne and Tom’s work in 12-Step Recovery, and the highs and lows of online dating. Tom is well-known to Anne’s fans as a regular character in many of her books, but this is the first time the two have been on camera together.

A conversation series where Jesuits chat with eclectic thinkers, writers, and teachers about faith and pop culture (and everything in between), the show is designed to appeal to Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

August 31: On episode two, Fr. Radmar and Fr. Ryan Duns, S.J. (blogger from The Tin Whistle Priest, and The Jesuit Post) invite Sr. Nancy Sylvester, IHM (former president of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious) and NYT bestselling author Caroline Myss into the rec room to talk about the power of prayer. The group discusses why and how they pray, the signs of prayers being heard and answered, and how to move beyond petition prayer to a place of true personal transformation. Also covered is the “crisis of self-isolation”, the necessity of community, and what we seek out in therapy that we used to seek out in church.
